J. Crew jacket // LOFT sweater // LOFT jeans
We’ve had so much fun exploring our new city since moving to Pittsburgh in August, but now that the air is crisp and the leaves are finally starting to turn a lovely shade of burnt orange it was time to set out and explore the country (or at least the suburbs!). And so we made our way to Simmons Farm for a morning of apple picking.
I love being outdoors this time of year, when the temperatures are cool and I’m most comfortable in a light jacket. I was absolutely giddy prancing around the apple orchard in my new booties, and of course such a perfect fall day calls for a cable-knit sweater (extra points for a beautiful cream shade!).
I did my best to pick the juiciest-looking apples, but as I’m only 5 feet 4 inches tall, I was glad to have A’s assistance to reach the best apples.
Then, just as we were about to head home with our loot, I stumbled on a ladder and managed to add a few more beauties to our bag.
Now for the big question: what shall I bake with all these apples?! Please share your ideas in the comments!
