Happy first day of spring!! My favorite season is finally here, and – even though there are snow flurries outside my window right now – I know that warm sunny days, tulips, and fruit pies are just around the corner! Here’s what I’m craving this spring.
Food & Drink
2 – I cannot get over the beautiful braided lattice top on this rhubarb pear slab pie. And an extra large 9″x13″ pie doesn’t sound too bad either!
6 – Don’t get me wrong. I adore a good rye and ginger cocktail during the cold winter months. But I am SO ready to start sipping on refreshing, fruity cocktails, and this blackberry and meyer lemon gin and tonic looks divine.
8 – Speaking of refreshing, fruity flavor combos, it’s time to bring back these lemon cupcakes with raspberry buttercream that I made last spring!
Style & Beauty
1 – My love of neutrals has been very well documented on this blog, but I somehow fell in love with the color of this seafoam Fossil crossbody bag. I’m currently in the process of convincing myself that it will go with enough of my spring wardrobe (which, let’s be honest, is mostly neutrals – so this is probably true) before I pull the trigger. Added bonus: it can be personalized with a simple monogram on the front flap!
3 – These Soludos espadrilles, with white leather and cream ankle straps, are just so adorable and would be lovely with everything from cuffed or cropped denim to floral sundresses. I also kind of love these cheeky espadrille slippers.
For the Home
4 – House plants are such a great way to add color and texture to a room, and this mini cactus garden is the most fun house plant I’ve seen in a while!
5 – I seem to have accidentally started a collection of assorted West Elm dessert bowls, and this blush bowl is too pretty to pass up!
7 – A and I are headed to St. Lucia in April for our honeymoon and I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED! We’ll be splitting our time between two resorts, starting our vacation off high up in the mountains before heading to a beach-side resort for the remainder of our trip. You can read a little more about why we decided to postpone our honeymoon and the other destinations we considered here.
