On August 1, A and I celebrated the one-year anniversary of our big move to Pittsburgh. My how the time flies! Since moving to the city we’ve settled into our apartment, started new jobs, and made new friends. We’ve also spent a ton of time exploring the city. We’ve hit up numerous bars and restaurants, checked out exhibits at a number museums, and taken in the great city views from multiple vantage points.
Then Applegate sent us a summer picnic kit – complete with their 100% grass-fed beef hot dogs – and I knew exactly where to go. We took our picnic to the West End Overlook for a delicious meal in the grass and an incredible view of the city we call home.
P.S. If you’re planning a picnic this summer make sure to check out my list of picnic must-haves!
Thank you to Applegate for providing the natural beef hot dogs, Sir Kensington’s ketchup and mustard, and Vermont Bread Company rolls for our picnic. All opinions are my own.
