Throw the perfect Valentine's Day Brunch that's low key and festive by whipping up some simple treats and a batch of blood orange mimosas!
Valentine's Day can be a pretty polarizing holiday. People either seem to hate it because of all the hoopla and how tough it is to make a dinner reservation - or because it's a reminder that they're not in a relationship - or love it for the explosion of sugar and pink.
Regardless of how you feel about the holiday, I think we can all agree that February is the perfect time of year to enjoy some tasty pink treats, right? So no matter your relationship status, enjoy the holiday by throwing a Valentine's Day Brunch with your best girlfriends!
It wouldn't be brunch without a refreshing cocktail, so for Valentine's Day Brunch why not serve citrusy and pink Blood Orange Mimosas? They're just as delicious as they are festive, and they're a cinch to make with just 2 ingredients. Get the recipe below.
And don't forget to about something to eat! I recommend Raspberry Sticky Buns (shown here, with some raspberry jam added to the icing for a sweet, pink color) or my latest obsession: Banana Bread Peanut Butter Crumb Cake. Or, if you're in the mood for something savory, I can't recommend Eggs Benedict with Pesto Hollandaise enough!
No matter what you decide to serve with your blood orange mimosas, a low key and festive Valentine's Day Brunch with your girlfriends is sure to be a hit!
