This cranberry champagne punch recipe combines seasonal fruit, cinnamon, and champagne to create a holiday cocktail that perfectly highlights the flavors of the season!
Holiday parties are an excellent excuse to pop open a bottle of champagne!
Though I love a classic glass of bubbly, a dressed up champagne cocktail feels especially festive this time of year.
To make this cranberry champagne punch I paired champagne with pure cranberry juice and added orange simple syrup and cinnamon for a pop of flavor.
Serve a big batch in a pitcher or a punch bowl, or enjoy a glass or two snuggled up by the fire. Either way, this cocktail is sure to delight!
Cheers!

[recipe title="Cranberry Champagne Punch" servings="about 10"]
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 orange, sliced
1 bottle champagne, chilled
3-1/4 cups pure cranberry juice
fresh cranberries, for garnish
fresh orange slices, for garnish
cinnamon sticks, for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Make simple syrup by adding the water and sugar to a saucepan and boiling until the sugar completely dissolves. Remove the syrup from the heat and add the sliced orange. Let cool completely, then remove the orange slices.
In a punch bowl or large pitcher combine the champagne, cranberry juice, and orange simple syrup. Garnish with fresh cranberries, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks before serving.
Note: The punch tastes best after the flavors have had a few minutes to meld, so I recommend serving the cocktail in a punch bowl or pitcher and adding the garnishes to the bowl or pitcher at least a few minutes before serving.
