Simple yet festive, this 3-ingredient cranberry champagne cocktail is perfect for celebrating the holiday season or ringing in the new year! Made with brut champagne, cranberry juice, and St. Germain elderflower liqueur and garnished with fresh cranberries and rosemary, this easy but elegant cocktail will elevate any Christmas or New Year's Eve party.
The end of this year feels particularly bittersweet. 2018 has been SO good to me. It's the year I met my son, Cameron, and my heart will never be the same. It's the year I got to watch Alex become a father, and it's made me fall even more deeply in love with him, which I couldn't have believed was possible. It's the year I became a mother, and I've never felt such an intense love and sense of purpose.
There is so much happiness in this current season of life, and I wish I could freeze time and live in this moment a bit longer. I've learned there's a term for this feeling: "nostalgia for the present".
Despite my desire to freeze time, I am excited, as always, to see what the new year brings. So let's raise a glass of cranberry champagne cocktail and toast the new year!
This cranberry champagne cocktail requires just three ingredients: champagne, cranberry juice, and elderflower liqueur (such as St. Germain). The champagne provides the bubbles, and the delicate sweetness of the elderflower liqueur complements the tartness of the cranberry juice for a beautifully balanced cocktail that's light and tasty. Garnished with fresh cranberries and rosemary, this festive cocktail is perfect for a holiday party or New Year's Eve celebration!
Cheers to 2019!Print
