Dessert Grilled Cheese with Brie, Blackberries & Honey
Stuffed with cheese and berries and just a hint of sweetness, this dessert grilled cheese is great for dessert or brunch - or any time!
- 4 slices brioche
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ pound brie
- 6 ounces blackberries washed and dried
- 3 Tablespoons honey
Spread one side of each slice of bread with butter.
Place 2 slices of bread, butter side down, in a large skillet.
Top each slice of bread with slices of brie, blackberries, and a drizzle of honey.
Top each with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
Heat skillet over medium heat. Cook until first slices of bread are golden brown. Flip each sandwich with a spatula and cook for a couple more minutes, until second side of bread is golden brown. Remove sandwiches from skillet.
Slice each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
