fresh blood orange juice
(from 2-3 blood oranges)
½
ounce
fresh lime juice
(from half a lime)
1 ½
ounces
vodka
chilled (optional)
ice cubes

ginger beer
chilled
citrus slices or wedges
for garnish (optional)

Instructions
Juice the oranges and lime(s).
Pour the vodka, lime juice, and blood orange juice into a copper mug and stir to combine.
1 ½ ounces vodka,
½ ounce fresh lime juice,
3 ounces fresh blood orange juice
Fill the mug nearly to the top with ice and top with ginger beer.
3 ounces ginger beer
Garnish with fresh citrus. Enjoy!
Notes
You can substitute another fresh citrus juice if you prefer. Fresh-squeezed orange or grapefruit juice are also delicious!
